Large & Impressive Early 19th Century English Antique Armorial Oil on Canvas Panel with the Order of The Garter - Originally a Trade Sign & Royal Warrant for G & O Bredge, Coach Builders of Cheltenham. Almost reminiscent of a Hatchment, this panel is painted with the Royal Coat of Arms with the Order of the Garter, flanked by a crowned lion and a unicorn as supporters, with flags behind, above a banner painted'G & O BREDGE, COACH BUILDER, CHELTENHAM. Present in a later moulded pine frame. Condition - some surface dirt and craqueleur apparent commensurate with age. Dimensions: 34 x 34 including frame.
